Abstract
One year has passed after Jougakura bridge had been constructed in Towada-Hachimantai national park. This bridge which has the longest span in Japanese deck arch, is located on the deep valley. So, tourists can see a beautiful scenery from the pavement of the bridge. Especially, this bridge is surrounded by colored mountains in autumn. This bridge was constructed as the main root between the west and the east area of Aomori prefecture. In this paper, the tourism and the structural aesthetics of Jougakura Bridge obtained by questionnaires are described.
