Abstract
A 27-year-old pregnant woman (7 months) with impetigo herpetiformis has been reported. The first pregnancy and delivery ran normal course. One month ago miliary reddish papules appeared on the axillae and spread to the trunk and extremities with continous or remittent fever, resulting numerous pustules in a circinate manner upon an inflammatory base. The mucous membrane was also affected. The spongiform pustule of Kogoj was demonstrated by a biopsy. A large doses of oral corticoids, vitamin B12, antibiotics and an artificial abortion showed almost no therapeutic effect.
