Abstract
A 75 years old buddhist first noticed pea-sized bullae on his lower abdominal wall and been treated by several dermatologist. About 6 months later, bullae spread on his trunks and extremities and he admitted to the Nagasaki University Hospital. On the admission time, laboratory findings revealed anemia associated with eosinophilia and lymphocytopenia of peripheral blood. Hypergammaglobulinemia and slight damage of liver function were also noticed. Histologically, subepidermal bullae, intrapapillary edema and migration of polymorphonuclear leucocytes and eosinophils were observed. A month later, he died for cachexy, and by the autopsy, old tuberculosis lesion of the lung and chronic gastric ulcer were found.
