Abstract
Clinical examination were done on 29 cases of erythroderma, including subacute type 9 cases, chronic type 16 cases and each 1 case associated with psoriasis vulgaris, toxicoderma, erythroderma congenita ichthyosiformis and Reiter’s disease. Abnormal results were observed on such as leucocytosis with eosinophilia, decrease of serum total protein and alubumin and increase of globulin. Serum cholinesterase were decreased on whole cases. Immunoglobulin level were studied on 7 cases, and found increase of Ig G and Ig A. Those pattern are very similar with that of SLE or Behçet’s disease. The tuberculin test was showed the negative on 5 cases in 8 cases and the DNCB test was showed the similar pattern. All those results in erythroderma may suggest that an auto-immune mechanism might be involved.
