Soft X-Ray Therapy of The Cutaneous Precanceroses and Cancers in the Head and Neck Region

Abstract

The therapeutic value of the soft X-ray on the skin cancer in the head and neck region was discussed, especially in consideration of irradiation technics, protection of the underlying tissues, curative effects and cosmetic effects. The shielding technics of eyeball, teeth, cartilage and bone is the most important maters in this treatment, of which detail is illustrated. The curative effect is very excellent and the X-ray irradiation could be recommended as the first choice of the treatment of the skin cancers in this region, if the dermatologists have the sufficient knowledge about the dermatoradiology.
