Abstract
A 53-year-old woman who developed generalized papules over the body with erythematous, purpuric macules, and severe itching on the entire length of her legs was reported. An impairment of tissue fibrinolytic activity was observed in the lesions of patient with itching purpura. We treated her with topically applied testosterone and systemic seratiopeptidase, based on the idea that the impairment of tissue fibrinolytic activity is implicated in the development of itching purpura.
