Clinical and Statistical Survey on Syndrome Dermatotumorale at the Dermatological Clinic of Yamaguchi University Hospital from 1963-1982

Abstract

There were 80 patients with syndrome dermatotumorale seen in our clinic from 1963 to 1982. There were 10 cases of dermatomyositis (accompanied by rectal cancer in 2, lung cancer in 2 and hepatoma and gastric cancer in 1 respectively), 6 of acanthosis nigricans (accompanied by gastric cancer in 3), 22 with dermatitis herpetiformis Duhring (accompanied by cervical carcinoma, gastric cancer and rectal cancer in 1 respectively), 24 of bullous pemphigoid (accompanied by pancreatic carcinoma in 1), 12 of skin metastasis of internal malignancy (mammary cancer in 8, malignant struma, cervical carcinoma, lung cancer and malignancy of unknown origin in 1 respectively) and 6 of other skin diseases (accompanied by gastric cancer in 3, cervical carcinoma, malignant thymoma and prostatic cancer in 1 respectively).
