Abstract
A 14-year-old Japanese female with oculoglandular syndrome of Parinaud who was diagnosed as having cat scratch disease with a history of eruptions is reported. She was admitted to Kumamoto University Hospital due to the development of visual disturbance, and medicated by antibiotics and corticosteroid. The eruption disappeared soon, thereafter and the visual disturbance also subsided. We could not find the pleomorphic gram-negative bacterium using Warthin-Starry staining in the subcutaneous nodule.
