A large fruiting body of Bondarzewia berkeleyi (Bondarzewiaceae, Russulales) was collected at a woodland path in Kurokura, Yamakita-cho, Kanagawa and the dried specimen was deposited at KPM. Its pileus was 64 x 50cm broad and 21cm in height. The fresh weight of the sporophore was 5.5kg and the dry weight, 0.9kg.
