Study on Molecular Design and Synthesis of Novel Surfactants, and Physicochemical Properties and Structure of Molecular Assembly

Abstract

Homogeneous polyoxyethylene-type and polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene-type nonionic surfactants with novel structures and functions were synthesized, and the adsorption and aggregation properties of these surfactants were investigated. Furthermore, the microstructure of the foam formed by the amino acid-type surfactant was investigated by using small-angle neutron scattering. The size of the foam film and the presence of micelles in the foam film were clarified.
