Allograft tissues are sometimes contaminated with bacteria originating from the donor, procurement environment, or surgical staff. To prevent bacterial contamination, allograft tissues are soaked into an antimicrobial cocktail. However, some allografts are lost due to decontamination failure, because the antimicrobial cocktail has not been improved for a long time. Here, we suggest antimicrobial agents which should be added for allograft tissue preservation solution by aspect of microbiology.
