Abstract
A 35-year-old male, an inmate, was brought into attention, when he complained of pharyngeal pain, dysphagia associated with a high fever.
The inmate, in suspicion of murder, admitted that he swallowed window paine after he broke it in small piece in an attempt to suiside.
An X-ray examination revealed the foreign body in the esophagus between first and fourth thoracic vertebra.
The esophagus was entered surgically to remove the foreign body successfully.
