Abstract
The patient was a 28 year old male, who developed following to nasal surgery exophthalmos, visual disturbance associated with pain which appeared in each eye in succession. The patient finally came to a total loss of vision.
The pathological examination of the tissue removed from the orbit showed a granulous tissue. This patient incidentally developed cancer of the pituitary gland about 15 years after the surgery to the orbit.
An autopsy revealed a pseudotumor remaining in the orbit. The author considered the tumor in the orbit was a pseudotumor due to a collagen disease.
