Abstract
A case of facial paralysis probably due to Hunt's syndrome was reported. The case was accompanied by auditory and trigenminal nerve disturbances but not by herpes about the auricle. The patient was treated with Leuchlon (an antibiotic), Betnelan (an ACTH preparation), vitamin compounds, Capilan and Neostygmin.
Faradism therapy was instituted from the 20th day of the disease.
Complete recovery of the facial paralysis, together with clearing of severe dysacousis, was obtained in 68 days after the onset of the disease or after 64 days of treatment.
