A REVIEW OF FOREIGN LITERATURE ON SEROUS OTITIS MEDIA

Abstract

The author presented a review of recent foreign literature on serous otitis media with special reference to etiology of the diesease.
Although stenosis of the eustachian tube had been considered to be the main factor of the disease after Politzer, recent studies seem to suggest that infection plays important role in the development of the disease.
