Abstract
Nine cases of inner ear syphilis have been followed up for a period of one to five and a half years. All of them complained of bilateral hearing loss and tinnitus, and seven of them were medicated with vasodilators and corticosteroid hormone. However, hearing loss advanced on the four ears (three cases), and the caloric response became worse on the four ears (three cases). This result was almost the same as in the reported cases which had received oher kinds of therapy.
