Abstract
We recently encounterd a case of Castleman's lymphoma occurring in the neck of a 10-year-old male patient.
The present case was a hyalinevascular type which comprises abaut 80% of Castleman's lymhoma, in head and neck region in Japan.
The most common site of Castleman's lymphoma is the mediastinal region, followed by the head and neck region. In Japan, there have been only a few reports. The number of the tumor occurring in the neck is only 54 in the literature, including this case.
The usual treatment is excision and the prognosis is usually good. We must take this tumor into account in the differential diagnosis of head and neck masses.
