Abstract
Ulcerative lesion of the pharyngeal wall accompanied with pain and dysphagia was noted in a 33 year old male.
All laboratory test were normal except for the activated fibrinolysin (plasmin) in the blood serum.
Although the relationship between the ulcer and the plasmin concentration in the blood was undetermined, administration of an antifibrinolysin preparation (Ipsilon) cured the ulcer which did not respond to any other treatment.
