SURGICAL FINDINGS OF RECURRENT FRONTAL SINUSITIS. APPLICATION OF MUSCULOPLASTY FOR ITS SURGICAL DEFECT.

Abstract

Two cases of recurrent frontal sinusitis were treated with sinusosomy followed by musculoplasty.
Both patient had prominent bone and soft tissue defect of the forehead due to previous surgeries.
Pedicled frontal muscle were used as filling substance, and favorable results were obtained.
As a method of autotransplantations into the surgical defect, muscle, bone and fat were compared and the results were dicussed.
