New functional oxides with A-site ordered perovskite structure

Abstract

Perovskite-structure materials exhibit lots of functional properties. Among them, A-site ordered perovskite-structure oxides have recently attracted attention owing to their interesting and useful properties. Competitive and/or cooperative interactions between transition-metal ions at both A and B sites play important roles in their intriguing physical properties. Newly discovered materials with useful and interesting properties are reviewed.
