Device applications of IV-VI semiconductor films and superlattices prepared by hot wall epitaxy

Abstract

IV-VI semiconductors and superlattices have been prepared by hot wall epitaxy for about 30 years, and their physics and device applications have been studied. In this paper, the growth of superlattices and applications to infrared lasers are reviewed. Recent studies on thermoelectrics and intersubband devices are also described.
