In recent years, many low-temperature atmospheric-pressure plasmas that can be touched with bare hands have been developed, and many projects to apply them to medicine, agriculture, and fisheries are being carried out around the world, with efforts toward practical application beginning. This article explains the history of agricultural research using low-temperature atmospheric-pressure plasma as well as recent domestic and international trends, and provide an outlook for future research trends.
