High-availability attained information distribution system in disasters

Abstract

In case of massive blackout or an obstacle of public infrastructure due to a disaster (the earthquake and so on), prompt and accurate communication of information is essential in order to provide safety evacuation guidance for people. In this paper, we propose the effective method by using wireless LAN to prevent burst of communication of information in public networks, such as mobile phone, the Internet, and telecom infrastructure.
