This document describes the case study that the concept of Value Growth Design based on Timeaxis Design Theory is applied to the feature development of next generation mobility. As one of the feature of the next generation mobility, Emerging Control System which is gradually adopt to the driver by means of leaning and accumulation of the field condition of the trip, will be considered. Emerging Control System was developed as a vehicle installation system, and the verification test of the effect was conducted on the driving simulator as an actual case of the improvement of the fuel efficiency and the battery duration of life. The result and the prospect of the Emerging Control System are mentioned.

"What is true wealth, and what is real human life? In the past, human activity was done on subsistence level, thus always in harmony with nature. Nowadays, however, we've been indulged with the all the capitalistic luxuries, and as a result, endogenous and vernacular activities are now increasingly lost. The "Asobi-shigoto" is regarded as an example of such subsistence activities, and is an attempt to re-examine its original meaning. Asobi-shigoto or 'minor subsistence', as its name suggests, encompasses activities such as catching wild games (fish, octopus, rabbit, or even wild boar) by using primitive and traditional way. The author believe that this Asobi-shigoto is an important activity in creating mutual symbiosis between man and nature."

After the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, some agricultural products have been found to be contaminated with radioactive cesium in a wide range of eastern Japan. It is important to reduce the amount of radioactivity in farm products. The most desirable solution is to cease production in the radiation contaminated areas. However, this is not a realistic choice. The fact is that the agricultural production has been continued. The government has developed a plan to detect radiation in agricultural products. Due to a severe shortage of radiation detection equipment, only a small percentage of farm products get checked. Consequently, food contaminated with radioactive cesium over the regulation values was distributed in the retail market. In this paper, we would like to discuss the issues and an effective detection system of radioactive contaminated food.

This paper describes a new language education service system which can co-create users' experience value. Recently, service science has been discussed intensively, and various new concepts have been proposed. SDL(Service Dominant Logic)is one of such concepts.
Language education services should co-create service value with customers based on SDL, however, no approach using SDL has been proposed so far. A new approach for co-creating users' experience value in Korean language education is proposed based on SDL, where shops or restaurants are used for training Korean language in real situations. This proposal seems to be effective for customers' satisfaction due to their desired real experience.

Organizational knowledge-creating processes rely on tacit powers of organization members. This paper proposes a soft systems approach as a tool to cultivate and disseminate such powers among organization members. For the purpose we first introduce an ideal type of organizational knowledge-creating processes. Then the soft systems methodology is revised by comparing it with the ideal type, and hence an application process of the revised systems methodology can be formally regarded as an organizational knowledge-creating process. Introducing the social systems theory, we can further discuss the mechanism and communication media of our soft systems approach.

This paper presents empirical evidence concerning effects of cultural differences on parents' attitudes toward children from unique U.S. and Japanese survey data. These data sets have been collected by Osaka University, and contain questions concerning worldviews and religions, hypothetical questions about parental behavior, and questions about socioeconomic variables. The data show that U.S. parents tend to be tougher than Japanese parents toward young children. Our evidence suggests that contents of worldview beliefs held by parents affect parents' attitudes toward children. Our empirical evidence also indicates that people who are confident about issues related to worldviews tend to show tough attitudes toward their children. Because U.S. parents are much more confident than Japanese parents in worldview issues on the average, this cultural difference helps explain a substantial portion of the difference in parental attitudes between U.S. and Japanese parents.

In current production environment in Japan, it is difficult to introduce and maintain a manufacturing factory composed of many workers. From a view point of strategy for merchandising, the following considerations are required to maintain business in the environment: understanding of customer needs and shipping new products to the market earlier than the other companies. Therefore, based on a strategy for international environments, multi-commodity and varying quantity production system should be managed between a stage of product design and a stage of manufacturing process. The production process should be separated into manufacturing process and marketing process to manage effectively. In addition, technologies of different manufacturing processes are commonalized as well as parts and modules and specific technologies should be hidden to prevent the other companies from catching up with our technologies.
In this presentation, a framework of PLM is discussed considering a strategy for international production environment. Concretely, production information is separated into data for structure of products and data of process for manufacture of products to maintain business management in international production environments. Specific data structure is developed to store these separated data. In addition, The structure is developed to manage the data for maintenance of technologies and design products in a long period.
