Abstract
According to the 5th IPCC Assessment Report, the global average sea level is expected to rise owing to the global warming effect. For the worst-case warming scenario (RCP8.5), the average sea level is expected to rise up to 0.82 m. Therefore, global coastal dike information is important to estimate of inundated area due to storm surge, tide level and sea-level rise. Therefore, the precision of the simulation results was inspected at Viet Nam and China using global coastal dike information.
