Abstract
In the second phase of the Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP), “Strengthening National Resilience (Disaster Prevention/Disaster Mitigation) ”, research and development that uses multiple satellite observation data to identify damage in a short time after the disaster is carried out. The main subject is the flow of disaster prediction, satellite imaging and data analysis in a series of chains. In this paper, examples of applications to actual disasters are introduced and the technological innovations that are needed are discussed.
