Qualitative Real-Time Disaster Forecasting Method Using Deep Learning

Abstract

In this research, as a method for creating backcasting scenarios in cascading disaster research, cascading disaster networks were created by extracting disaster causal relationships using natural language processing from Japanese newspaper articles about the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and the Great East Japan Earthquake, which are representative examples of cascading disasters.
