Abstract

The aging rate reached a record high of 28.8% in 2020. With the promotion of home medical care and changes in family structure, the number of male caregivers is increasing. In this study, we use anonymous data from the Basic Survey on Social Life, we examine social isolation factors based on the lifestyle behaviors of single male caregivers. We selected 17 of the 20 items that correspond to types of behavior in the Basic Survey on Social Life and age as variables. As a result of clustering of lifestyle behavior patterns using the latent class model, 18 classes of characteristic types were extracted.
