Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought difficulties to our daily lives and caused various changes in socio-economic activities and environments. Facing this situation, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) thought about how JAXA can contribute to this changing society. JAXA has cooperated with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA) in developing the Earth Observing Dashboard to provide analyzed information, which show environment and economic activities impact related to COVID-19 pandemic from available earth observation satellites data from three agencies including GOSAT, GOSAT-2, ALOS-2 and GCOM-C. This paper introduces an overview and preliminary results of trilateral cooperation.
