Abstract

In this paper, we introduce the current situation of synthesized societal data to support real-scale social simulations in data-driven design. In order to conduct real-scale social simulations that target specific geographical areas or regions, the data relating to the specific regions are required. Although Informations on the land or buildings are summarized by Geographical Information Systems, it is difficult to utilize the informations on residents due to privacy reasons. This paper introduces synthetic populations including synthesized households based on the publicly released statistics. We also show synthesized societal data that includes synthetic populations and their activity data.
