Risk-benefit optimization of drone cages responsible for the safety and quality of drone services

Abstract

We are developing a drone cage as a solution that enables the provision of safe and secure drone flight services without worrying about injuries due to collisions. The benefit is the prevention of hazards such as cuts due to approaching drones, but there is a risk of increased air drag of drone flight. So, we conducted an air drag measurement of the drone cage in a wind tunnel test and evaluated it.
