Abstract
This article discusses a platform to measure regional characteristics for solving regional problems based on Big Data. Grid square statistics is one of the reasonable solutions that enable us to aggregate Big Data related to graphical locations in tiny areas and help us to understand current situations in a data-driven manner. This study focuses on a PDCA cycle consisting of logic modeling and policy analysis and addresses platform technology to acquire, collect, and analyze data for approaching regional problem-solving. It concludes that there are four aspects such as platform technology, data analytics techniques, interactions with human activities in the real world, and standardization.
