Guiding System of the Course Selection Using Fuzzy Logic

Abstract

We have shown a guiding system for selection of courses in university. The system judges the grade of the aptitude of a high school student for 9 courses from his ability and his character. The system consists of three kinds of questions on the favorite subjects and on his personality. From these answers, the system calculates his aptitude score in each course using fuzzy logic and the expert knowledge. The system has the knowledge on the relation between the character and its suitable course. The system serves decision making and has many similar applications.
