Abstract

In this paper, an orthognathic surgery support system based on soft computing techniques is proposed. The proposed system consists of a prediction system and a graphical database. A predicted profile of a patient after surgery can be provided by the prediction system which is based on the prediction by neo fuzzy neuron and warping technique. Similar patients can be selected from the database which is constructed using self-organizing map. The effectiveness of the proposed system is verified by applying it to four patients.
