This article presents the past, the present and the future of research on fuzzy theory, soft computing and those neighborhoods inAIJ, related Japan Society for Fuzzy Theory and Systems (SOFT) and Japan Society for Fuzzy Theory and Intelligent Informatics (SOFT). Further, some examples at Shingu Lab., Nihon University will be introduced.
