Abstract
The osteoporosis is diagnosed by using the transformation level of the bone density and the bone based on the image which is obtained by CR, CT, MRI, etc. However, there are no methods for automatic detection in the visual screening. In this paper, we propose a method to detect a phalangeal region for analyzing the osteoporosis by using image processing technique from the CR image. The proposed method adopted for 8 images which obtained previous and current CR image for segmentation based on Snakes algoritms, 72[%] of segmentation accuracy is obtained.
