Abstract
This paper discusses the analysis of information skills for students based on a Visual Analog Scale (VAS). The subjects were 35 undergraduate university students and 5 graduate school students and in order to analyze their information skills, they were asked to answer questionnaires on VAS and Likert Scales (LS). The results showed that there exists a high correlation between VAS and LS. VAS was shown to be an effective tool for analyzing the information skills of students.
