With good reasoning rules, approximate reasoning could be regarded as an evaluation tool. However, it is not always easy for every teacher to establish good reasoning rules. For this purpose, this paper aims to propose a new method to assist teachers who want to apply approximate reasoning to educational evaluation. This method suggests teachers how to establish good reasoning rules, and it also gives a new method to execute approximate reasoning with the established reasoning rules. The authors also compare the proposed method with conventional evaluation method which applies approximate reasoning as well.
