Abstract

Particle radiation therapy becomes one of the most powerful tools. Particle transport calculation code PHITS is used to make exposure plans for the treatment. In this experiment we measured (p,p 'x)reaction double differential cross-section in most forward angles that were not measured previously to improve the accuracy of the calculation code. Experimental data were obtained at a cyclotron facility and compared with nuclear reaction theory calculation code CCONE and PHITS.
