Abstract

Since the deformation behavior of the part carburizing and quenching is larger and complex so that its prediction is very difficult. In this study, the deformation behavior of one side of carburized quenching low carbon steel disc was verified by simulation and experimental work. In addition, simulation results by heat treatment code COSMAP, give a good performance to compare the experimental value, so that the inelastic deformation behavior in one side of carburized quenching was verified.
