Abstract

In environment of IoT, “Safety of IoT” is not always included in computer and network security. Usually machinery safety is protected with robust hardware except for computers and networks. Computers are not robust in real world because they run in small electric power, therefore small electric noise make them uncontrolled. Networks do likewise. IoT is “the Internet of Things”, so we can't ignore computers and networks. In this study, we focus on safety and security in environment of IoT, that is, safety of a sensor with computers and networks. As basic attempt, we consider computer authentication based on risk.
