Abstract

We are developing a frailty detection system with the aim of improving the QOL of elderly people. Frailty is the general clinical syndrome of the elderly person, whose death risks is high by various accidents for example, a fall, an accident disorder, hospitalization and so on. In order to determine whether the person isfrail or not, a grip force measuring machine or a walking speed measuring machine are often used, but these detection instruments are independent from each other and not cooperative. We explain a method to construct an efficient detection system by letting these instruments cooperate.
