Diagnostic methods in Oriental Medicine consist of inspection, ausculation and olfaction, interrogation, palation. In this study, we had attempted to investigate the diagnosic standard of the tongue inspection using a fuzzy theory. It suggested that a fuzzy theory was useful for setting up a diagnotstic weight on the diagnotstic standard of the tongue inspection.
