The effect of Fenton like oxidation in 2-chlorophenol degradation was studied at 35 kHz and 1 MHz. The concentration of 2-chlorophenol and hydrogen peroxide are 0.25 mM and 3.4%. Hydrogen concentration was directly decreased as soon as put into the 2-chlorophenol solution. The degradation efficiency of decomposition of 2-chlorophenol was about 60% within 60 min. And the degradation of total organic carbon is almost 40%. Therefore the addition of hydrogen peroxide can enhance the degradation rate of 2-chlorophenol and total organic carbon concentration.
