Abstract
Zn-Al-Ga-O fine powders with a single phase of spinel were synthesized by a co-precipitation method from a mixed solution of nitrate salts in the presence of aqueous ammonium carbonate. This powder was tested as a catalyst for NOx reduction in the presence of water vapor and SO2 for very long service periods. The fact that no deactivation behavior was observed during continuous reaction conditions as well as its excellent reproducibility character is remarkable. Zincaluminogallate spinel was found to have high durability for the reduction of NO by C2H4 in the presence of 10% water vapor and stable NOx conversions was obtained for over 100h.
