Abstract
Crystal structures and magnetic properties of Sr2Fe(Mo1-XNb-X)O6 with x=0.0-1.0 were studied by x-ray diffraction and magnetic susceptibility measurement. The Sr2Fe(Mo1-XNb-X)O6 solid solutions with x=0.0-0.6 have ordered arrangement of B site cations, (Mo, Nb)5+ and Fe3+, and transform to the ferrimagnetic state below their Curie temperatures. The samples with x=0.7-1.0 have disordered arrangement of B site cations and transforms to a spin glass state around 30K.
