Abstract
Bi6Ti3Fe2O18 single crystals were grown by a melting-slow cooling method. By measuring χ-T plots along the a(b)-axis and c-axis, independetly, antiferromagnetic property was observed along the a(b)-axis, but not observed a long the c-axis. Also, magneto-ferroelectric property could be detected. The remanent polarization was increased f rom 0.183 to 0.214μC/cm2 along the c-axis, when applying the magnetic field of 2500 Oe along a(b)-axis.
