Calcium hydroxide and phosphoric acid were used as starting materials for hydroxyapatite powder (Hap). Metal butoxide compounds were used as metal sources (Al, Zr, Ti, Si). Four kinds of Haps containing 1 mol% metal alkoxide were prepared by wet syntheses. Obtained powders were characterized by XRD, BET measurement and FE-SEM. XRD patterns of Haps with metal alkoxide showed a single phase of apatite. Specific surface area of Haps with metal alkoxide (Ti, Zr, Al) was higher than that of Hap without it. They were evaluated by protein (BSA etc.) adsorption measurement due to apply for adosorption materials. Protein adsorption phenomenon of Haps with metal alkoxide was different from that of Hap without it. It was depended on introducing of metal alkoxide to Hap structure.
