Fabrication of oxide thermoelectric generator was carried out using the pulse electric current sintering (PECS) method at 900 °C for 3 min.Direct joint between Al doped ZnO and NaCo2O4 polycrystalline materials formed by single process from the stacked powders.The thermoelectric power of the prepared π-type ZnO-NaCo2O4 element ( 5 x 10 x 15 mm) was ca. 85mV at dT=500K and at 800 °C.Furthermore, preparation of three types joints of NaCo2O4/Al-ZnO, NaCo2O4/Au/Al-ZnO and NaCo2O4/Al2O3/Al-ZnO ceramics are succeed by one step PECS processing.
