Based on the concept to increase the efficiency of TiO2 photocatalyst, many kinds of porous material were exploited as a template for TiO2 coating or as a mould for geometrical shape-TiO2 fabrication. All of those purposes were to increase the TiO2 surface area in a specific volume. In this study, titanyl(IV)acetylacetonate and STS-01(titania sol) were prepared in various concentrations and coated on to the inner surface of 0.1 and 0.05 mm in diameter of the porous body pores by dipping method. The porous bodies coated at each concentration were calcined at different temperatures due to treat TiO2 crystallinity. The XRD analysis of each specimens indicated the anatase phase. The TiO2 coated porous bodies were evaluated for photocatalytic activity by measuring the decomposition rate of Methylene blue solution. The results from the different pore size specimens and different type of starting solutions were compared and calculated to find the relations.
